And Dante climbed his wings, but it was like climbing downwards, which corresponds with gravity, which hadn't been discovered when Dante wrote the book (which is supposedly non-fiction, and an actual account of what Dante went through)

2005-02-02 [Jeesum Crowe]: Dude, I'm Canadian, and I grew up in America, and I get the Monty Python humour. It's like Fawltey Towers humour. It's the best. Monty Python & the Holy Grail, the Princess Bride, and Robin Hood : Men in Tights have to be the 3 best (most hilarious) movies of that similar kind.
